Gorgeous, golden-haired Gillian Zinser has blown audiences away with her Skintillating roles on American television. This leggy lady was cast on Cold Case and Southland before earning the regular role of Ivy Sullivan on Rob Thomas’ revamp of the Beverly Hills classic 90210. She started out as just a guest role, but was so impressive playing a surfer girl with her blonde tresses and bikini-body, she was signed on to be a series regular. And just in case you were into the teen drama (Hey, Mr. Skin doesn’t blame you—hot girls in bikinis? Uh, yeah.), that wasn’t really Gillian surfing on camera. She’s a long-board girl, and the powers that be wanted someone who could do short-board, so a stand-in surfer was used. Born in New York City, she grew up in Washington D.C. and settled in Venice, California (hence, knowing how to ride waves), after attending New York University. The starlet’s feature film debut was in the small film Ecstasy (2011), but you may have spied her as a beach girl in Oliver Stone’s Savages (2012) with Blake Lively and Taylor Kitsch. She’s also played Sheena in Band Aid (2017) with Adam Palley, and Jess Baylor in The Guilty (2021) with Jake Gyllenhaal. While she sizzles in front of the camera, Gillian is equally talented behind the lens, and has directed several short films. She’s also done work for Chanel, Free People, and the XP Foundation.
